The ACTIVEIntegration Partnership is a research-to-application driven initiative funded by a Partnership Development Grant awarded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.
Research Objective #1
Explore the perceptions of new Canadian women and children/youth as it pertains to the experiences of physical activity involvement and its role in social integration.
Research Objective #2
To examine the existing opportunities for new Canadian women and children to be physically active in the Greater Waterloo community and whether social integration is currently considered with these opportunities.
Research Objective #3
Develop and evaluate an evidence-based physical activity program to facilitate social integration among new Canadian women and children/youth.
